How does online personal training work?

I still work with you one on one, just virtually! I have an amazing app where I create personalized workouts (with exercise video demos), have the ability to direct message you anytime, schedule weekly video chats for accountability, and keep track of your progress through photos, weight, and inches. The added benefit is you can workout anywhere, anytime and don’t have to tack on extra travel time or follow a strict training schedule. As much as I would LOVE to train each and every one of you in person, I am a full-time mom to my little boy and my schedule just doesn’t allow it.  Having an online personal trainer is a flexible, cost-effective, and awesome way to reach your goals within your schedule!

My Training Approach

I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and follow their Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model to systematically progress my clients to any goal. My training consist of phases, starting with building muscle endurance, stability, and balance training. Then moving on to focus on increasing overall strength by challenging the muscles with slightly heavier weights. If desired, we move to the last phase that helps increase speed and power. Throughout all phases, I incorporate cardio training to increase cardio respiratory efficiency, burn more calories, and rev up that metabolism!

I like to keep workouts exciting and I am all about finding new ways to work the muscles and make each exercise work for each individual. As a result, I have designed workouts that can range from 25-50 minutes depending on what your schedule will allow. I want to utilize your time in the best way possible. My goal is to pass on my love of health and fitness to you and make it the best part of your day. I want you to feel AMAZING when we are done with each workout.
